I had a Microsoft Publisher created PDF that was rather complicated. The origional publisher file was lost and all I had was a PDF. This program did a great job of creating a Word file that I was able to edit, keeping all of the artwork intact. Much better than I expected from a free program!
Tried to convert some very basic PDF tax forms into word and all the text and tables were garbled. Rendered the word versions useless. Gets three stars though because the UI is simple and easy to use. Otherwise would be 2.
too much cleanup required after conversion
too many spaces within words. margins too narrow.
Garbled, misplaced underlines and paragraphs
Free, if you want two pages of garbage. My document was simply text. Some centered, underlined headings. It’s a mess.
first page flawless, second page a garbled mess…
based on that i won’t pay to upgrade if that is what is to be expected.
